Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By using Horário de Missa ("Portal"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. When you log in, your acceptance is recorded with the date and version of these documents. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.

2. About the Service

Horário de Missa is a collaborative, free portal, maintained on a volunteer basis and without commercial purposes, that gathers Mass schedules and information about Catholic churches, with search tools and links to maps.

3. Access and Account

• Looking up schedules is open to everyone. To contribute, you need to log in with a Google account. The Portal has no registration or password of its own.
• The security of the login is Google's responsibility, under its terms. You are responsible for keeping your Google account protected, since access to the Portal depends on it.
• The Portal may restrict, suspend or block any user's access, without prior notice, in case of misuse, fraud or submission of false information.
• You can delete your account at any time on the My account page. Blocked accounts can only be deleted upon request through the contact form, under the "Privacy and LGPD" option.

4. Google Login

By signing in with Google, you authorize the Portal to receive your name, email and profile picture, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

5. User-Submitted Content

• Logged-in users can contribute by submitting church and schedule additions and edits. Contributions are reviewed before being published, except those of trusted users, reviewers and administrators.
• Whoever submits a piece of information is responsible for its accuracy.
• Submitting offensive, false or defamatory content, or content that violates the rights of third parties, is prohibited.
• The Portal may review, correct, refuse or remove any contribution, without prior notice.
• License of use: by submitting a contribution, you authorize the Portal, free of charge and for an indefinite period, to publish, adapt and keep that information. The authorization remains valid after your account is deleted, but the contribution is no longer associated with your name.

6. Intellectual Property

The layout, brand, source code and other elements of the Portal belong to Horário de Missa or to authorized third parties. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written authorization is not permitted. Looking up schedules for personal use is free.

7. Third-Party Information and Disclaimer

• Church schedules and addresses are provided by contributors and may be out of date or contain errors.
• The Portal does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or availability of the information displayed. We recommend confirming schedules directly with the parish before setting out.
• The use of third-party services integrated into the Portal (Google Maps, Google login, Cloudflare) is also subject to the terms and policies of those services.

8. Service Availability

The Portal is offered free of charge, as is, and may undergo maintenance, instability or changes without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

Horário de Missa is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Portal, including decisions made on the basis of out-of-date schedules provided by third parties, to the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law.

10. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The date of the last update always appears at the top of this page. When there is a relevant change, the new version applies to you from your next login, which is recorded as acceptance. Until then, continuing to use the Portal without logging in implies agreement with the version in force.

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law.
